Rear- and Sideviews of rears.

From the side, this dog has very moderate angulation. I would prefer more bend to the stifle and therefore broader muscling in the rear. Appears to have strong hocks not too long. Perhaps a little steeper in croup than I would prefer. He is over-stretched in stance. From the rear, I particularly like his strong hocks, and bone carried well down to feet.

Another dog who, while nicely set up, again lacks angulation in the rear. Appears to have a little less bone than the blue merle above. Curvature of the croup a little better than the blue merle. Notice the strong, short hocks from the rear.

Much better angulation in the rear, hocks perhaps a bit longer than the two above, strong hock joint, nice bone, stands well from the rear
